Track Name: Lutheran Psalms
Lutheran psalms

The world order was disunited
a pamphlet of hate nailed on God's door.
By a reformer, an agitator
spreading fear and loathing among the faithful.

With lies and fire a new world order rose.
Religious and racial fanaticism.
A prophet with a poisoned mind,
Praying life and speaking death.

Lutheran psalms
Hate and dogmatism.
Lutheran psalms
Sanctimony for the people.

"Burn their churches, destroy their houses
burn their books full of false prayers
kill their leaders if they dare to teach
deny them human dignity."

Martin, Adolf, oh Jesus Christ
Leaders of the misguided.
All are gone, still idolized,
Hypocrisy and bigotry.

Lybia 1942

I woke up face down in the sand
the sun was eating my flesh.
I looked up, smelling the stench of death
and breathing blood-soaked dust.

We were walking line in line
until my friend collapsed.
Headshot, right through, striking my face
and the world went black.

I was crawling over the dead
angst-ridden in a state of delirium,
Deranged and so scared
Aware of mortality.

This is not the land of my fathers.
Not my war, my purpose of life.
I was forced to the forces,
oh God, I'm going home.

I got on my feet, followed the stars
5000 miles away from home
Running through the night,
and hiding through the day.
Never loosing faith.

One year of hunger, one year of thirst,
Loss of hair and teeth and strength.
But I went on driven by despair.
Oh God, I'm going....., going home.

Oh God, I'm coming home.....
